Rarely do I think that employers should give in to negotiating tactics of their employees. Generally speaking, those that threaten to leave but try to railroad their boss into giving them more money to stay, can in my book, ‘hit the road.’ But this…
this is inconceivable.

For all that is good and holy, for the safety of this nation and at the desperate pleas of my ever-fragile sanity, please HBO, I beg of you: do whatever it is you need to do get James Gandolfini to stay for the last season of The Sopranos. The show cannot end like it did in last season’s finale and we all know, without Tony Soprano, the show will never be the same. Sure the network could go on with Sex and the City and Six Feet Under, but let's face it: HBO IS THE SOPRANOS.

Viewer ratings aside, I throw myself at a the mercy of HBO and its parent company AOL Time Warner and promise that if they just get James to stay for the last season -- pay him, bribe him, blackmail him – I promise to name my first born after David Chase or anyone else that may make your heart content.

Get him to stay one more season, and then kiss his sorry, no-good, career-suicidal rear goodbye.

Snow Storm Dumps 1” on Midwest, Minnesotans Baffled by ‘White Stuff’
Never before have I seen Minnesotans so dumbstruck by snow. We got an inch overnight and flurries this morning and rush hour was a virtual holocaust on the highways. Cars in ditches, spin outs, accidents and tow trucks everywhere. Good Lord, you’d think this was Texas with the way people are treating this stuff. Heck, it even made the
front page of the Enemy Paper's website for a period of time.
