Remember this guy?
Proof that the prison system as a rehabilitation tool doesn't work if an individual is never jailed.

Baghdad Bob
Whether you support or oppose the war, one would think that we at least all agree on one thing: coalition forces certainly have the ability to choose the well spoken to deliver their messages while the Iraqi government apparently does not.
Baghdad Bob (formerly known as the Iraqi Information Minister) has been anything but coherent through the entire war and it seems all too easy to blame his inconsistencies on the pressure from a threatening government or shoddy translation. And now Bob has gone missing. Never fear, though: this website* has collected enough of Bob’s most entertaining quotes and collectible memorabilia to satisfy your sense of humor while he’s gone. That is, until he shows up dead.
*traffic to the website has been exploding as of late and I assume that the administrators are doing everything they can to keep the site up. Regardless, don’t be surprised if it’s down when you attempt to get there.

Just a few of the many ‘firsts’ we had this weekend:
1. My niece’s first birthday.
2. First serious theological discussion as a couple.
3. First time attending a church service together that was void of dead person or newly wedded couple.
4. First time being trapped in a gas station when a power surge puts Eau Claire, WI in a blackout.
5. First 75+ degree day of the year.
6. First time blogging something of substance in several days.
