How to find out if you're on the RIAA's list of criminals for subpoena.

And speaking of music, I’ve got a bone to pick with Clear Channel Communications or Hubbard Broadcasting or any other company that owns a radio station in the Twin Cities area:

I have a relatively short commute; five to ten minutes at best. Since the onset of the construction season, my commute has been stretched to a lengthy fifteen minutes, possibly twenty if I stop for gas or am so kind as to let some indecisive merger decide if today is his day to be aggressive while getting on the cross-town. This commute takes place anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. depending on the circumstances. During this time, I have deduced that it is empirically impossible for one to hear anything that resembles music on any of the 8,000 radio stations that occupy the Twin Cities’ airwaves. Not only that, but during this time I flip from station to station, listening to recaps of last nights primetime TV schedule and ironically enough, commercials about how their radio station “isn’t all talk” like all the rest.

Is it too much to ask that radio stations get back to what they were made for and play some music? I’ve been told by some friends that I’d hear some music if my commute was a little longer, but do I really need to listen to the radio for twenty minutes before I hear one Sheryl Crow croon or Nelly beat?
