What I’m TiVoing
I’ve been doing a lot of blog-hopping lately and noticing the What I’m Reading section that apparently every blogger adds to their website just prior to launch.

Anyone who knows me knows I don’t read. I have barely enough commitment to finish browsing my JCrew catalog, let alone finish the Cooking Light that will get dumped on my doorstep every month for the next four years. Instead, I TiVo.

TiVoing is a pastime that has changed our household, making us more productive TV watchers and thrown us into the downward, dirty spiral that is pause, rewind and record. We’ve abandoned our inferior live TV watching ways for multi-tasking, commercial skipping heaven.

We’re not the only ones. Lynsey and Roger have succumbed to TiVo’s addictive nature, only to be burnt a few months later in the unspeakable event we call the TiVo Disaster of 2004. So in lieu of my What I’m Reading section – should I ever get around to updating this site – is my What I’m TiVoing section. The current top five programs we TiVo are:

The Daily Show, Comedy Central
American Chopper, Discovery Channel
Scrubs, NBC
World Series of Poker Tour, Travel Channel
